“We are separating”
Separation, divorce, custody and support. Most of my family matters end in an agreement, not a hearing.

$900
Three to nine months
When to call
When you are separating and want to understand your position before anything is said in anger. When you have been served with papers. When an arrangement for the children has stopped working.
What I do first
I listen, then set out what a court would be likely to order, because that is the yardstick for any agreement. Most of my family matters end in an agreement signed by both people, filed as uncontested.
If it cannot be agreed
Some matters need a judge. If yours does, I prepare it properly and stand up in the Family Court myself.
Tell me what happened.
I will say where you stand.
The first call is free and takes about twenty minutes. Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6 pm. If there is a deadline on a letter, say so first.
