“I have lost my job”
Dismissal, unpaid wages, severance agreements and unfair treatment at work. I act for employees, and for employers with fewer than fifty staff.

$450
Three to twelve weeks
When to call
When you have been dismissed, or think you are about to be. When you are handed a severance agreement and given a week to sign it. When wages, overtime or holiday pay have not arrived. The time limits in employment law are short, some as short as a few weeks, so ring before you reply to anything.
What I do first
I read whatever you were given and ask for your personnel file. Within five working days you have a letter saying where you stand, what the realistic outcomes are and what each would cost.
For employers
I also act for employers with fewer than fifty staff: contracts, handbooks, and how to end someone’s employment fairly. I do not act on both sides of the same dispute.
Tell me what happened.
I will say where you stand.
The first call is free and takes about twenty minutes. Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6 pm. If there is a deadline on a letter, say so first.
